I am available as required. I just graduated from an accelerated program at Ivy Tech and I obtained my Associate's Degree in 11 months, versus the average 24-month degree track. This shows that I have a good work ethic and am dedicated to my tasks. I have been accepted and will be attending the University of Indianapolis in August 2018 and will most likely be only searching for a full-time caregiving job for the summer. Description of Skills: I an capable of planning, preparing and serving meals and snacks according to individual diet plans, providing transportation, assistance, and companionship to clients, transporting clients to get groceries or supplies and handling their money while out, cleaning and organizing patients’ homes, performing household tasks such as laundry, dusting, washing dishes and vacuuming, providing patients and families with extensive emotional support, exhibiting compassionate care and communication with regard to issues of death, dying, and dignity when giving up tasks that the patient could once do, comforting patients and provided them with reassurance and encouragement. I have a drivers license. With respect to previous professional experience, I have 3 years of paid work experience in elderly care.
