Nursing Supervisor Wichita's premier home health care agency is looking for a Registered Nurse to work between 30 and 40 hours per week. Our company is well established and provides superior service to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a passion for person centered care giving. The position enjoys a fun team based work environment with a flexible work schedule. Limited evening and weekend work may be required. We prefer at least 5 years of supervisory and two years of home health care experience; however we will train the right individual. Our location has developed an assortment of competitive programs that have are well recognized in the Wichita health care community. This agency has a staff of approximately sixty-five employees and the luxury of a very stable work force. Key Responsibilities: 1) Provides care as defined within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act. 2) Makes the initial client assessments and initiate the plan of care. 3) Schedule and complete sixty day supervisor visits and evaluates the client’s care plan and satisfaction levels. 4) Provides skilled nursing services. 5) Conducts performance evaluation of care-giving staff. 6) Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state and federal laws. 7) Assures compliance with all local, state and federal laws regarding licensure and certification of organization personnel. Qualifications: 1) Love being a Nurse and providing care to individuals. 2) Registered nurse with current unencumbered licensure to practice professional nursing in the state of Kansas. 3) Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program. 4) Demonstrated ability to supervise and direct staff. 5) Possess exceptional nursing assessment skills 6) Excellent interpersonal skills. 7) Excellent customer service skills and ability to deal tactfully with clients, staff and community. 8) Treat clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image. 9) Case management skills are a plus 10) Policy development is a plus 11) Ability to travel on a daily basis including limited weekends, nights and holidays 12) Understands regulatory compliance Please e-mail your resume to [email protected]
