Elder Care Job in Albuquerque, New Mexico

We are looking for caring and compassionate Caregivers to come be a part of our brand new team. New Residential Assisted Living facility opening on the Westside of Albuquerque. All shifts available including part time and full time positions. This includes weekdays, weekends, day and night shifts. We are willing to work with desired 8-12hr shifts. Duties will include but not limited too: • Compassionately caring for the elderly. • Cook and prepare meals that have been planned for our residents. • Work with outside agencies such as Hospice and Home Health. • Assist residents with all ADL's including toileting and showering. • Willingness to work as a team with house administrator, resident care RN and other staff. • Pass and assist with medications. • Ability to provide companionship and conversation with residents. • The ability to communicate well with residents, staff and other healthcare team members. • Identifying changes in residents health status and reporting it to the house administrator and resident care RN. We are looking for individuals that want to enhance the lives of aging adults with dignity and respect in the comfort of a home setting. You will be involved with the owner and be part of a team that is being developed! You must be at least 18 years old and pass a criminal background check and random drug screen.
