Elder Care in Boston, Massachusetts

I will graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at the end of May 2017. I am looking for a way to serve the community before I start my job as a Registered Nurse at the end of August. I love having great conversations and listening to someone reminisce. It is an absolute honor to serve someone who needs some extra care. I have experience working with patients in hospital, long-term medical care, hospice, and assisted-living environments. Common health problems I have helped treat or manage include Diabetes Mellitus, kidney failure, congestive heart failure, venous and arterial diseases, cancer, ALS, COPD, and many more. While I will have my degree in nursing, I will not be licensed until the end of June. I have the medical knowledge required to keep you or your loved one safe, and the attitude and demeanor to keep them active and stimulated. I am looking for a full-time position during the summer months, and am willing to transition to a part-time or PRN position when I begin my RN job. I can start as early as May 29th, and I would love to speak with you about your expectations and my qualifications. I can preform hygiene tasks, light cleaning, meal preparation, feeding, medication administration, and anything in between! Trusting someone else with your or your loved one's care can be scary, but I would love to answer any questions you have.
