Elder Care Job in Petaluma, California

Looking for live-in aide for two independent elderly ladies. Includes nice bedroom with shared bathroom in beautiful country home. The house is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and pastures with cattle. The ladies have medical issues but take care of their basics needs. We are looking for a compassionate individual that is reliable and possesses patience and integrity. A passion for helping others, as well as the ability to meet needs with little supervision and strong communication skills are highly desired. Duties include but are not limited to: * Assist in self-administered medication * Drive to appointments, activities or errands * Share in meal preparation * Light housekeeping * Report health conditions or any significant changes in health to medical professional and family. Requirements: * Valid drivers license with clean driving record * No criminal record * Ability to read & write English, as well as follow written instructions * TB or CXB physical exam clearance * References Desired: * Previous aide or nursing experience * Current CPR and first aide certificates (or the willingness to acquire them) * Home health aide certificate Texting is the preferred response to this ad.
