My strength is the combinations of my work, experience, education background and personality. I have been a pediatric nurse for almost 6 years so I have experience taking care of children at various ages. I am also a hard-working, flexible, responsible, trustworthy, quick in learning, and communicative person who DO love and understand children. I am also caring and have outstanding adaptabilities according to my work experience dealing with parents/patients/ co-workers. I can adjust to work in any new environment professionally. I respect and understand diversity well Live-in caregiver experience in Canada from June 2011 to present (around 15 months) (Disable care) • Provide complete care and foster development and progression of patient • Be responsible for helping the disabled client in home in receiving proper nutrition by planning and preparing their meals • Help in cleaning and any other daily activity they need help with. • Monitor the vital signs and any digressions. • Meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient by providing companionship, social interaction and playing games that encourage skill development and reading to him • Monitor and evaluate behavior management plans. • Gather aids and equipment to aid individual and aid in undertaking personal administration. • Care for personal hygiene; bath, brush teeth, dressing, grooming etc. • Ensure maintenance of daily records • Work as a team with PSW and physiotherapy ( my typical days are to empty night bag(drainage from supra pubic catheter ) and to replace with a leg bag, to perform physiotherapy which consists of several ranges of motion exercises and movements, to assist employer to get out from the bed(using ceiling track lift, to transfer to toilet) • Drive on daily basis to grocery shopping, appointment or general outings • Perform general light housekeeping and cleaning duties
