A brief background on my qualifications: I hold a Community Social Service Diploma and have interned and completed placements through a variety of organizations. My last employment position was with with Rexdale Women's Center as a Trauma Counselor for Syrian refugees specifically working with those who have children with developmental and learning disabilities. Before that, I worked with troubled youth who are susceptible to substance abuse development as a result of various mental illnesses. I am currently certified in CPI. CPR and Mental Health First Aid and as well have a vulnerable sector's background check.
