Elder Care Job in Toronto, Ontario

My grandmother speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She however, will switch back and forth between English and Chinese- you must be able to understand either Cantonese or Mandarin. She is very pleasant, does not wander and enjoys colouring, flowers, and cooking. She needs help reminding what to do next. This job is short-term for now but if works out well can be for 3-4 months at a time and allow my parents to travel. We are looking for a care-giver to sleep overnight in 3 bedroom condo with my grandmother while my parents are away for 2-3 weeks. My grandmother goes to day program every day from 9-2:30. Caregiver will be required to cook breakfast, and supper for her. My grandmother requires reminding and some help in getting dressed, eating, taking medications and ensuring that she is safe. Overnight required from Sunday to Friday morning. Time from when she is picked up until she is dropped off- light housekeeping, and laundry. Weekends are optional. Need to be back at the condo by 6pm on Sunday night.
