Hi there my name is Emily. I'm an elder care provider living in Vancouver who is loving and want to care for your loved ones. I am 21 year old Irish student nurse in Trinity College Dublin. I am in Vancouver for the summer months on a working visa. I am very caring, reliable and approachable individual. I have 3 years of elder care experience and could provide references if required. I am very confident caring for the elderly because throughout my nursing course, I have worked in many of the Dublin hospitals and also I worked part-time in nursing homes. I acquired the skills of assisting the elderly with their activities of daily living such as bathing, communicating, assistance with meals and promoting an active lifestyle. I have various certificates such as CPR (children’s & adult), Management of aggression training (MAPA), elder abuse and infection control, which I am willing to forward on if required. I am a friendly and energetic and creative person and really enjoy taking part in many activities and enjoy the outdoors. I play golf regularly at home with my family. I am a non-smoker. I have no issues with animals, I have a lot time for pets as I have a small Dog at home. I would greatly appreciate your consideration for a carers position.
