Elder Care Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are seeking for a live-in caregiver who has experience with the elderly. Mother and father are living at home and need assistance with the preparation of meals, housekeeping, laundry. Parents are still independant, italian speaking but can be made understood with the english language. Mother needs extra attention. Her thought process is deteriorating and forgetting things- leaving the stove on etc. She enjoys cooking but needs supervision in the kitchen! She is taking alot of medications and needs to be reminded when to take them. Dad is also taking medication and needs to be reminded. Dad is still independant - still driving. Very in tune. This caregiver will be welcomed with open arms- they have three siblings and six grandchildren. You will be staying in a loving and clean environment. WE are looking for a live in caregiver to take care of my parents on the weekend starting Friday evening at approx. 7:00 and shift ending Sunday evening at approx. 7:00. This person will be looking after two seniors- husband 86 years old and wife 90 years old . They are both pretty mobile but need assistance to prepare meals, medications, bathing my mother only if required on weekend, laundry and cleaning.
