Seeking assistance for elderly care . Toronto needs assistance for various things. Job Responsibilities: Elderly specific skills required to enable 92 year old widowed lady to continue to live in her own home. Prepare, cook and serve nutritious meals Launder clothing and household linens Perform light housekeeping and cleaning General grocery and other shopping as required Personal Care Administer medication Assist with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Assist with walking / general mobility support and accompany to all external engagements as required - doctor's appointments, hairdresser, etc. Provide companionship and intellectual stimulation Participate in the administration and support of household Desired Work Experience: 1 to 2 years working with elderly Education and Skills: Minimum Education - completion of high school / Post-Secondary education preferred First Aid Certificate Mandatory Requirement: Candidate must be able to speak Italian Other Requirements: Criminal Record Check Work Setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis.
