One of the hardest things a family has to do is make the decision to have someone take care of the parents or you yourself are looking for care, the hard part is not finding someone, but trusting them with your loved ones or yourself is a concern, my main concern is the client ,my job is not only to care for the client it is also to make sure the client is secure, safe and happy with my care and with my abilities. I love what I do and I want to be able to keep doing this for as long as I can. I spent 4 years as a live- in caregiver to a lady who had suffered a stroke 10 years prior, I did everything such as: cooking, cleaning,bathing, personal care( hair, make- up, nails etc....) Accompanied on outings to the doctors appointments, household and personal shopping. I also have previous experience in Dementia and Alzheimer's care. More so dementia care
