Elder Care Job in Edmonton, Alberta

My mother is an incredibly kind and caring individual. She is a former teacher, principal and educational administrator who has traveled the world and touched many lives, and is now 67 years old and retired. She lives on her own in a house and has brain cancer, and the cancer is starting to impact her cognitive function and mobility. At this point, she requires help getting up and down, getting dressed, doing housekeeping and laundry, and running errands/getting groceries. Her condition is changing, and likely over time she will require additional support. We believe that she needs someone with her around the clock, so we are currently seeking both part time and full time care. She has an extra bedroom and bed in her home, and would be able to offer a live-in situation. 67 year old woman with brain cancer. She is able to much on her own still, but requires some help with dressing and will likely soon require help with hygiene.
