Elder Care Job in Cornwall, Ontario

We are looking for an experienced and caring individual to provide live-in supports to an elderly gentleman with dementia living in his own home in Cornwall, Ontario. Responsibilities include: • Following the care plan, provide personal care, proactively and with compassion • Assist with daily living activities, such as grooming, dressing, and bathing • Plan and prepare meals • Help with mobility and transfers • Perform light household duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and washing dishes • Care for all medical and health needs • Maintain care log Qualifications: • A minimum of two years experience in supporting the elderly and ideally, dementia patients • A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening within the last 12 months • Good oral and written communication skills • Proven interpersonal and organizational skills We provide a competitive salary, excellent working environment and bright, private bedroom.
