Elder Care Job in Toronto, Ontario

This position is for a live in female caregiver for a senior. The home is located in midtown Toronto and is easily accessible by bus and subway. The seniors health is mentally quite sharp and she enjoys reading, spending time with family and watching television shows. Although she is mentally alert, she has a variety of health conditions including heart problems and is a diabetic. Her mobility is declining and she gets dizzy quite frequently and has had to give up driving. As a result of her age and health, she is in need of a live in companion to assist with daily needs. Main concerns are preparation of meals, assisting with getting from one area of the house to another, housekeeping and assistance with groceries. Possession of a valid Ontario drivers license is an asset.
