Elder Care Job in Toronto, Ontario

Provide support for happy , outgoing young man with some intellectual and physical challenges Full time live in from Sunday night until Friday afternoon with option to remain in apartment when son with family on weekends. Approximately 40 hours of work time as have ccac home care supports in place daily. Tasks include accompanying client to walkable local community activities including library,music group, plaza ,friendly visiting in retirement home, going to movies , coffee and social groups in building, and to monthly computer club Assistance with some selfcare activities including minimal assist with transfers required. Some meal preparation, laundry and light household cleaning Live in required for safety because son is not able to get out of apartment independently . Sleeps well, no night time assist needed.
