Experienced, full-time, live-in caregiver needed immediately for senior couple (89 and 93) in North Toronto (Bathurst and Wilson area) who need assistance with all standard caregiver responsibilities including: meal preparation, light household cleaning/laundry, bathing/dressing (husband only), light errands (grocery shopping/pharmacy/banking), ability to administer insulin shots and oral medication on daily basis (husband only). Caregiver must have at least 3 years prior experience working with elderly seniors and ideally, trained as RNA or RPN. Must have strong English speaking skills, outgoing personality, sensitivity and be a self-starter. Driver\'s license and access to car a definite benefit. Exceptional grooming, personal manners and composure required as well as strong organizational skills and cleanliness. Care and sensitivity of living in seniors\' home is essential as this would be first live-in experience for this couple. The seniors are able to provide appropriately private and properly furnished live-in suite with room, functional kitchenette and bathroom facilities including separate side entrance. The couple has had success with part-time caregiver who has moved onto full-time RN position. Adult children of seniors live in close proximity and can assist as required.
