Elder Care in Concord, North Carolina

Hello, . My name is Veronica Holton and I’ve recently relocated to Concord North Carolina, coming from my position as a Facilities and Events Coordinator at New York University in New York City. Please allow me to further introduce myself: I've worked at New York University for the past twenty-five years and this has been a wonderful and joyous experience for me. It has also been a journey with five promotions and tremendous pride in receiving the university’s highest employee service award “The Violet.” I’ve worked successfully as a supervisor in facilities management where I’ve overseen renovation projects reviewed budget reports, coordinated and made recommendations in regard to fund allocations and more. Some of my experiences in coordinating NYU’s special events included receptions for potential doctoral students, for visiting scientists, for scientific conferences and for major NYU financial donors at the President’s penthouse. I’ve found these experiences personally satisfying, involving both creativity and supervisory responsibilities. Before working at New York University, I was a nanny and before that, I was a Home Health Aid. I wish to go back to these roots. I know a little about the medical field and I have my First Aide Certificate in place. I'm a good listener and enjoy conversation with elderly clients. I’m mature, professional, very well organized and love what I do in assisting others. I’m a true believer in positive thinking and sharing my strengths and encouragement with others. New York University has been a valuable gift and blessing to me, and it gave me great satisfaction of knowing that I’ve done a great job there and possibly, have made a difference in someone’s life. I’m confident in the person that I am and the warm demeanor I always carry. I would love to share my successful experiences, team spirit and of course, producing smiles within North Carolina.
