Elder Care Job in Thornhill, Ontario

We are looking for a caregiver for our father who has dementia. We are looking for a part time/casual caregiver for 5-10 hours a week initially but anticipate that our needs will increase over time. Tasks would include: (1) light housekeeping - laundry, mopping, washing dishes (2) assisting him with shaving, dressing, tolieting, showering, brushing his teeth (3) assisting him with activities like light exercise We have a friendly dog so we are looking for a caregiver who is comfortable around pets. Caring for the pet would not be part of the job description. Additional information: Part time position 5-10 hours a week (Tuesday or Thursdays 8 a.m.-12 p.m.) live out position We are not willing to sponsor under the Live-in caregiver program Of note, we are not near a transit route (nearest bus stop is a 15 minute walk away) We are looking for a caregiver for our father who has Alzheimer\'s dementia. He also has diabetes.
