Care Aide Golden Life Management/Garden View Village - Kimberley, BC May 2007 to Present Experiences and responsibilities included: Creating schedules, tracking hours and OT, faxing payroll and organizing activities. Answering questions related to and providing tours. Dealing directly with mental health, CHF nurses, Vital Air, case managers and the actual follow through, includes typing changes to care plans. Dealing with and resolving complaints, from residents, families and staff. Scheduling maintenance from service providers and assisting repair men. Dealing with elevator hydraulics over the phone, electrical panel problems and quite literally changing the plumbing in a toilet (manager and myself). Having to be quick, professional and intuitive. Solving problems while saving money. Phillips life line experience, General personal care duties, bowel care, recreation, bathing, all aspects of ADL\'s in a time efficient way. Six year old step daughter with \"Wildervank Syndrome\" or cervico-oculo-acoustic syndrome; an 8 chromosome mutation leaving her blind and deaf with both physical and mental disabilities (altered ASL is her only form of communication).
