Elder Care in Taft, California

I am a medical assistant and have been since 1993. I am also a certified nursing assistant (2000) and also a emergency medical technician. (2005) I have 2 small children a little girl who is 4 and a little boy who is 2, they both are in daycare and also go to head start. I recently took care of and lived with my best friends parents for the last 5 years. I took care of ANYTHING that had to deal with their medical. *making appointments (surgical and office) *maintaining medications (filling thru pharmacy pick up and filling pill boxes) *monitoring patient diabetes *giving injections (insulin and pic line antibiotics) *driving to all appointments including out of area appointments *monitoring/charting vital signs. *reporting back to all family members and keeping them informed of all changes. *cooking *cleaning *speaking to doctors and staff. I am no longer with them due to him passing away from Pancreatic Cancer and she decided to move up north to the Sacramento area. I have a huge heart and i am very empathetic and compassionate about people who need help.
