Hello my name is Shirley. I'm seeking an elder care/companion provider job in Mckinney, Texas. My goal is to contribute my abilities as an elder companion/care provider. Available now.
Description of Skills:
I have over six years of experience working closely with clients and providing excellent personal care for patient with Dementia and Alzheimer. My duties included preparing meals, light cleaning, bathing/grooming, running arrands (doctor appointments, grocery shopping etc), providing assistance with activities, physical, emotional and social support. Observant enough to recognize changes in clients to alert the appropriate individuals, treat them with dignity and respect maintain confidentiality for all clients and respond to all emergency situations involving the safety of clients.

Shirley Jones was my elderly Aunt's in-home caregiver. Shirley was my eyes and ears for numerous years, helping my aunt with her day-to-day routine. Showers, dressing, meals, grocery shopping, Dr appts... any and all things necessary to encourage my Aunt to have a productive day, even going out for coffee and donuts. Shirley was in contact with me numerous times a week, as needed. She was extremely reliable and dedicated (as demonstrated by my Aunt's numerous phone calls to Shirley for help and direction). Shirley was very involved in the transition of finally getting my Aunt moved from her home to an Assisted Living facility as my Aunt's memory declined. Shirley is trustworthy, responsible, knowledgeable, aware. She was a wonderful caregiver that I would highly recommend to anyone needing help with a loved one.
