Elder Care in Mc Kinney, Texas

My name is Janet Zettle, I am currently employed in McKinney Texas as a Conierge for an Assistant Living and Memory Care facility. I have been a caregiver for 10 years, taking care of the elderly. I did their shopping for them and helped drive them to Dr. appointments. Sometimes helping clean their apartment, or doing a little laundry. Mostly they preferred getting getting food they liked delivered or would have me go to their favorite restaurant and pick something up. Most of the residences I cared for wanted companoship, someone to read to or watch their favorite movie with or sports programs. I have been a volunteer at many different organization all my life, at church and the hospital. I also took care of my mother who was quite ill. I have always enjoyed working with the elderly, I learn a lot from them and their background, which is always interesting. I would like to be able to go back and doing this again as a companion as I can no longer lift people or their wheelchairs. I will be available any daytime that is offered,as I have difficulty driving at night.
