I started my nursing career 15 yrs ago at a nursing home in Keller, Texas. I realized as I worked with geriatric patient's that this was very much my calling in life. I received my CNA certification through the nursing home in Keller 15yrs ago and went on to study nursing at Harris HEB Hospital in Bedford and received my LVN certification. I worked 3 yrs with Oncology patients and geriatrics while at Harris Hospital. I decided to make my future as a nurse doing home health because I love making my patients feel at ease and always comfortable and what better way to do that then to be at home. I love watching them smile when I come through the door, and love all the stories from there child hood and making there day a little brighter. I am a very dependable and compassionate person which I believe is very important as well as communication. Having communication with family members as well as with my patients I believe is very important because families should always be involved in how there loved one is doing day to day and how they are progressing. I enjoy carelinx..... because they are very organized and always make sure the caregiver that the families have are trained and doing a wonderful job.
