I have been an LPN for 8 years. The majority of my experience is working with the elderly. I have experience working with trachs/vents, peg tubes, colostomys and catheters. In every job that I obtain, my patients fall in love with me. I am always very patient with my residents. I do not treat them as a patient, and help them maintain their dignity. One downside of working in a nursing home is, you never have enough time to provide each patient with the time and affection they all deserve.
