Elder Care in Long Beach, California

Hi my name is cynthia , I am 23 years old. I have always loved taking care of others who need the help. When i was 12 my mom was diagnosed with schizophrenia. We didn't have the money to hire a caregiver or someone who could help her out around the house or keep an eye on her. So I decided I would care for my mom. I made sure she took her medication , I helped her change , and clean the house. I would keep her company and kept her mind busy and was there to support her. It was then I realized I wanted to do this for a living. Allot of elderly people are misunderstood or treated without respect and I believe everyone should be treated right and should be understood. I love the elderly and I think they deserve respect because we have no idea the life they have lived , and at this time of their lives they need all the help they can get. There is not allot of trustworthy people anymore , but I know I am perfect for this job. I enjoy doing it and I love being able to make someone day better , and make their lives easier as well. I have 2 kids of my own and I am excited to soon pursue my goal of becoming a nurse and later on transitioning into an RN. I would love to have the experience to help more people and of course the experience would help me later on. I am responsible and trustworthy. I am also very patient and believe that is the key to helping the elderly because they need someone who will be there every step of the way no matter how long or how it becomes later. I am excited and hope I meet your requirements and know that you can trust me to care for your loved ones and I promise to respect , be patient and love them as if they were related to me. (:
