Elder Care in Manchester, Connecticut

I am a grand mother in my 50's. Raising 2 grand children in their teens. ( Great kids on honor roll ) .And I also have a small dog. I am the only one in the home working . My husband is unemployed due to heath issues. I have my own home but am finding it difficulty to manage finances with the cost of living as it is. I am a Occupational Therapist Assistant that rehabs the Geriatric population with some short term rehah individuals of a younger age. I have lots of experience with the elderly. I am considering taking in a Elderly person who is able to be by themselves when I go to work but would benefit from having people to help cook, or do laundry to simplify their lives. and not be alone all the time. The room I have is small, but right off the bathroom on the 1st floor, 3 steps to get in the house. outside porch and the room is furnished at this time. I could help with showers and other things but that would be negotiable. I attend church 2x a week. I would also consider providing transportation to dr. visits. Good Credit check. Husband also drives.
