Who I Am: Hi there my name is Kevin. I am searching for a home care position in or around Broome county. I am currently available full-time or part-time Monday through Friday and flexible on hours/shifts. Service Abilities: I have over 6 years of experience working with the elderly, working the past three of those years as a certified nursing assistant. I have worked in two different nursing homes and am very familiar working with Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease. The care i provide includes toileting, bathing, dressing, mobility and transfer, feeding, monitoring vital signs, operating lifts such a Sit-to-Stands or Hoyer lifts and more. I'm a very social, compassionate person and have always been quick to develop friendships with the people i've taken care of. As a private home care giver i'm willing to assist with any activities of daily living a client may need. I have reliable transportation and can accompany individuals to any appointments and/or run errands with them such as grocery shopping and more. I'm capable of helping with any house-work (including pet care) and can remind individuals to take or administer myself any medications they may need.
