Elder Care in Calabogie, Ontario

My name is Tricia, and I'm originally from Chatham Kent, and completed the PA 2 program through the Canadian Red Cross Society in the past. I have experience working with elderly, disabled, and palliative clients. Although I haven't been in the field for some time, I truly believe I was happiest when I was a home care provider. It was extremely rewarding, and I certainly had a natural ability to provide the personal care required for each individual case. There were two clients in particular with dementia who not only bonded with me, but actually became happier and smiling more, one client even starting playing the piano again. A good home care provider can make a world of difference providing that piece of mind during difficult times. I also worked well with nurses in home setting, as I realize that it takes a full health care team working together to create the proper care plan, and to follow through with proper reporting to ensure the client, and their family are receiving the best service possible.
