Elder Care in Fort Good Hope, Northwest Territories

I am a Fiji residents, and I am 42 years old. I am a registered nurse and also a registered midwife in Fiji , an emplyee of the Ministry of Health. This is my 20th years of experience in the nursing program. I spent 8yrs in the hospital and 12yrs in Public Health. Currently I am a Project officer and I coordinate TB Care in the Northern part of Fiji. I travel a lot to visit our TB cases,assess their compliance to avoid lost to follow up or defaulter. This program will end by the end of this year and that is why I am trying to find a job elsewhere and my interest is to provide care to elderly people overseas because this not a priority in our country. My core responsibility as a registered nurse are: * patients personal hygiene *Oral care * IG feeding * Dressing * Pressure Area Care * ,Medicine and injection administration *Reassuring to alleviate fear & anxiety to patients and their families / relatives * damp dust and keep the environment clean & tidy *As a midwife, I do deliveries, Ante Natal and Post Natal Clinic.
