I have been a caregiver for most of my life, beginning when I was just 16 years old, taking care of my mother who passed away from breast cancer. Since then, I have worked with either the elderly or in a childcare setting. I have a special place in my heart for the elderly and they seem to enjoy me also. My hope is to become more than just a caregiver but to befriend and bond with the person as well. I am a very compassionate and empathetic person by nature. I am honest, intuitive, prompt and truly enjoy creating a connection that goes much deeper than just doing the necessary duties of a "caregiver."
