Elder Care Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello my name is Al, We are looking for a full-time caregiver to assist my 88-year old Mom. She is mobile and is in good health for her age - but can loose her balance at times. She has recently moved to Edmonton to be closer to her family. She speaks English and Italian. She will live in a beautiful 2-bedroom condo in Crestwood where you would live with her. Our family lives just a few blocks away and would be present and active to help her as well. We would have her at our house for dinners, companionship regularly - so there is flexibility for time off during the week. We are looking for an experienced and patient caregiver with experience looking after elderly people. You will need to have some basic meal preparation skills, ability to manage / provide medications, assist with personal care, perform light housework, laundry, etc. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE RESPONDING: You must be already be a permanent resident or Canadian citizen to be considered for this position.
