Elder Care Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Senior lady requires full time LIVE IN help in her home in NE Edmonton. Includes furnished large bedroom and salary. Females up to age 65 only. Must speak clear fluent English.This LIVE IN position duties include meal preparation, light housework, laundry, personal care, medication administration. This senior lady has recently had a stroke which has affected her ability to choose correct words to express herself or to understand others at times. This is called aphasia. Experience with caring for the elderly and with aphasia would be beneficial. She does not have dementia. She walks short distances with a walker. Require a reliable, kind person who genuinely likes caring for the elderly and will take the time to be gentle and learn how to communicate with her. Must like pets because a small dog visits from time to time when I visit my mother(I am her daughter). Prefer someone with a vehicle who is a careful driver. Call 587-340-... if interested.
