Terms of employment: Full-time, Willing to sponsor under live in caregiver program Duration: Two (2) years Hourly base salary: CAD$11.00 Location: Thornhill, Ontario Employer: Sugrabanu Dewji Contact Inforamtion: 416-888-... Daily duties: Supervise and care for senior (90 plus years) female with limited mobility in employers’ residence; Bath, dress and personal care (toileting, change adult diapers etc); Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Aid in mobility and range of motion exercises, massage, positioning in bed and transferring (bed, wheelchair); Tend to the emotional well-being; Plan, prepare and serve meals, provide companionship and perform housekeeping duties; Take to appointments, when necessary; and, Maintain a healthy environment in the home. Education & Experience: Secondary school or equivalent (post-secondary education is an asset); and, One (1) year of elderly care and experience as a live-in caregiver during the past three (3) years; or, Six (6) months of full-time classroom training in caregiving. Work setting: Private home. Work location information: Option of live-in arrangement in private household at no cost for the duration of the employment; Private and furnished accommodation will be provided.
