• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home • Light housekeeping and cleaning duties • Laundry duties (washing, ironing, folding) • Administer and ensure correct pills/medication are taken daily • Meal planning - Prepare 3 healthy meals and snacks throughout the day • Assist with personal grooming, bathing, hygiene • Provide conversation/discussion/companionship • Encourage exercise with clients to the best of their ability (daily walks, walks around the home) • Report any changes in client’s health status to family members and undertake necessary steps to ensure clients’ safety and well being • Encourage cognitive wellbeing by providing stimulation activities (crossword puzzles, reading, writing) • Occasional accompanying client’s to medical appointments • Occasional Grocery Shopping duties
