I have 20 years experience working with the seniors. This is very near and dear to my heart. It's very important to have them stay in their homes and personal surroundings and keep their families involved in their care and life decisions as much as possible. As a Care Giver I know that you want to make sure the senior is given the BEST quality care. You want them to have their dignity and keep them safe and motivate them as much as possible. I give the utmost quality care to the individual and to the family's needs. I assisted them in accomplishing their morning tasks such as bathing, clothing etc. Carry out daily household tasks like cooking, washing, cleaning etc. Administration of medication, document. I observe and record signs and symptoms of changes in client's condition or behavior and notify the family. I shop for food products on a daily basis to provide the client the best meals if this is needed. Assisted in keeping personal hygiene as well as maintaining health fitness through daily activities like walks, easy conversation, physical exercises, diversion activities, etc. I transport to and from doctor appointments and informs the family of changes if necessary. I advise of services available through community resources. I am very passionate about my work and experiences. Now I can give back what was given to me.
