Elder Care in Newburgh, New York

Hi my name is Alicia. I grew up in a private nursing home my family owned since third grade. Caring for people is more than a heart filled passion for me. I feel that everyone deserves excellent care and compassion and love. I live in Newburgh New York but am willing to work live in 5 days a week in Manhattan. I have excellent references and always give 100% . I am experienced in all aspects of care and have also worked with dealing with doctors and any appointments the person in my care might have. I'm told I'm a excellent cook, I also have owned a cleaning business so therefore I'm very neat and organized. I have worked jobs that I have traveled with patients. I feel there is nothing better than helping someone enjoy life and making people smile through the care they will receive by me. I know I always do more than is asked and that I go beyond the call of duty. When in my care the person I work for has all needs and wants met with a smile. I have worked with dementia people and has we know that takes a great deal of patience. I was taught at a very young age that kindness and compassion goes a long way in the world we live in. I'm very energetic and enjoy people of all ages. I always visit local nursing homes and just walk around and talk to everyone. I feel elderly people can be forgotten and that is something that I can't accept, they have so much to offer if you just take the time to listen.
