Ihave been a SAHM for 21 yrs and raised 3 wonderful sons. I have been my mom's weekend caretaker for a 1 1/2 years and was taking care of my father as well until his passing at the end of January. I handle(d) all of their Drs appts and care. Both parents had surgeries that required rehab and extensive care at home. I've taken care of my mother through ankle surgery, knee rehab, a fall and stroke. I took care of my father with a fall, hip surgery and Alzheimer's. I have been responsible for dealing with all their Drs, appts, medication, rehab facilities and hospice for my father. I have extensive experience with physical needs, physical and mental handicaps. I am looking for a position as a caretaker/companion for an elderly person or couple. Am also available for Drs appts and p/t care during the week while my son is in school. Am able to assist with rehab, meal prep, shopping, cooking, showering, dressing, medication reminders, outings and more. I am caring, patient & hard working. I have my caretakers license as well as being CPR/First Aid certified. I can provide you with stellar references from multiple families that I've had the honor of working with.
