Elder Care in Santa Rosa, California

Sue R was a part-time caregiver for my mom for nearly 8 years, until she passed away in April 2018, at the age of 98. The first 4 years she helped mom around her apartment with dressing, fixing meals and monitoring medications. My mom had a severe stroke 4 years ago, and had to have a feeding tube. She also had to move to a Skilled Nursing Facility. Due to the loss of use of her dominant side, and difficulty in calling/asking for assistance, we had 24 hour care with her while she was there. Sue R was one of her 4 rotating caregivers, helping with the night shift. Because mom had such incredible care and love surrounding her, she always had a smile on her face and never experienced the sores, infections and illnesses that many patients face. She would brighten and smile when Sue would show up. I will be forever grateful for the love and devotion that Sue gave mom.
