Hi there my name is Brenda. My family is looking for part-time elder care two (possibly three) 8-hour night shifts a week to assist my 100 yr old Mother when she wants to go to the bathroom overnight. She awakes 2-3 times a night and needs someone to help her walk safely to the bathroom. Since she has dementia, she needs some direction to complete the task within a reasonable time and get back to bed instead of wandering the house. The rest of the family will still be n the home. We live in the west end of Toronto in High Park/Roncesvalles area.
