Description: Hi there my name is Bobby. I'm hiring a companion carer working in Kingston, Ontario, to provide in-home care and medication administration to my mother Joan. Mom was recently diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer's, and has trouble with short-term administrative memory, although her ability to reminisce about days & years past is quite vivid! I hope to hire a qualified, consistent employee for a few hours a day, minimum 4 days per week, but up to 7 days a week, if mom's care needs increase. Services And Training: Joan would benefit from companionship, physical therapy, help with dressing and bathing, light duty housework (sweeping, dishes) and assistance with laundry. Ideally, you have your own car available, as Joan will need the occasional ride to appointments, shopping etc. The best-possible applicant would be formally trained as a PSW, however it isn't necessary to be hired.
