I am looking for a caregiver for my father who is 83 living with advancing parkinsons and who would also ease the life of my mother living with him. The position could be full or part time,live-out,may consider live-in as they live in a nice home well set up for a live-in. Current duties would be helping my father transfer-he uses a walker but freezes often and has a precarious gait,help with dressing,grooming,hygiene,toileting,some bathing[currently getting two hours a week from government agency] and outings once we get a wheelchair. My father sleeps a lot so my mother needs some companionship. She is an avid housekeeper but would probably appreciate some help sometimes for example cleaning bathrooms,washing dishes,simple meal preparation . Taking my mother out to grocery shop [she loves to shop around] and other little outings would be very good for her. I am looking for someone who is experienced caring for a dependent senior and if you are gentle,cheerful and tidy in addition you will be greatly appreciated. Unless my parents needs change drastically I anticipate the position to last 4 or more months. elderly man with advanced parkinsons needs help with mobilizing,dressing,grooming,toileting,outings plus light householdhelp,outings and companionship for his wife
