Elder Care Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Dear Caregivers, We are looking for a caring elder care worker for my father. He has trouble getting up at night and sleeping. We need someone who can come 2-3 nights a week (Saturday and Sunday and possible one additional night) (from 11-7) to care for him when he wakes 2-3 times a night and needs assistance getting up, getting comfortable in bed, and other things. This job would involve overnight stays at his home where he lives with my mother. They live in false creek. He is a 72 year old man with a rare form of Parkinsons. He has trouble initiating movement (so this is a problem getting to standing) and balance problems. He is 6 foot 4 inches tall but not overweight, so we are looking for someone who is quite strong as he can be heavy to lift at night from a lying position (although he sleeps in an electric hospital bed so that helps with sitting up).
