The geriatric specialist said not to lose hope, that mom could regain a great degree of her prior good health and mental function within a few months. We are hopeful that this happens with the right joyful care. We only require a live-in, for occasional night time assistance. And rarely to supplement care by others as required. Accommodations could include caregiver's family member as agreed to in advance. Care and utmost respect and dignity. Our ideal candidate will have experience in elder care and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others. Mom is english speaking and has hearing aids but has a very difficult time with any accents (including stronger British accents), speaking slower helps but strong accents would not be ideal.
