Job Posting: Nice to meet you! My name is Corinne. I'm hoping to find a senior care provider who is interested in renting a two bedroom suite at a significantly reduced rental rate in exchange for household care for a senior couple living above. I am looking for a trustworthy, exceptional single or couple who are caring, patient, flexible, and able to meet the expectations of the senior couples desires and needs. This would be a part time job in exchange for a significant reduction in rent. We will not pay you, rather the benefit is the significant rent reduction in direct reflection of the hours worked. Other outside work is possible if it fits the schedule. Most of the hours of this part time job will take place Monday to Friday during the afternoons. Details: The senior couple requires help with household care such as planning and executing 5 supper meals a week, cleaning up after supper meals cooked, drives to errands and shopping and appointments once a week, cleaning of the home each week for 2-3 hours, and possibly additional care of 2-4 hours a week of their 19 year old grandson who has autism and is blind. A drivers license is required. The worker can use the car of the senior couple. The ideal applicant would have previous experience, criminal record check for vulnerable populations, a credit check, 2 employer references and 2 previous landlord references.
