Elder Care Job in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia

Overview: Hello my name is Sharon. I'm hiring a companion care giver for nights in Qualicum Beach, British Columbia. I hope to hire a compassionate care giver who has had experience with elderly clients with Alzheimer's or dementia. The work would be for coverage for 3 nights per week, Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 8pm to 7am. My father sleeps from 8pm till midnight then requires help getting up to the bathroom. Peri-care is required after using the bathroom. He often stays up for 1 to 2 hours then sleeps again from 2am to 8am. This job requires someone to sleep at the house and be ready to wake up and assist my father, give him companionship and care should he need it. Most of this shift will be spent sleeping or relaxing in the home. He is prone to falling on occasion and may require lifting to his feet. He weighs 125lbs Services And Training: Our family is in need of social support, simple bowel care, and preparing breakfast on some occasions.
