Elder Care Job in Airdrie, Alberta

Hiring Immediately: Looking for a P/T caregiver for a female 52 yr old with a spinal cord injury (quadriplegia), for Mon/Tues mornings and several evenings per week. 3-4 hour shifts for morning care, including showering, bathroom use, and dressing/hair and dental care. No lifting required (ceiling lift into shower chair and/or wheelchair), but full assistance needed for all of the above. Also evening care for the reverse (assistance getting to bed). May require medication assist, and/or basic food prep. Independent transportation required. Prior experience in personal caregiving definitely an asset, but not necessary - will train - but caregiving propensity - caring, kind, dependable - a must. Hygiene-conscious, compassionate, hard worker, detail oriented, ability to accept instruction, work without supervision, are all asset qualities.
