Elder Care Job in De Winton, Alberta

We are updating the description because circumstances have changed. Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to seniors? We are seeking a live-in, part-time elder care provider to help out my father. He is very independent but needs someone there in case he needs extra care. We are seeking someone to live-in and provide meals, some companionship and light housekeeping. There would not be 24 hrs a day supervision and there should be nothing needed at night. You would only have to work when needed (mainly meals) Your own private room would be provided. Being able to drive and having your own vehicle is required. The ideal candidate will have compassion in dealing with the elderly and experience making nutritious meals. Companionship would be appreciated but not necessary. Grocery shopping and some errands might be required. My dad is very frail and has some trouble walking but would like retain independence.
