Elder Care Job in Clayton, North Carolina

Greetings! I'm looking for someone who can come and spend time with my mother (she is turning 90 in March) a couple times a week.. She would want a companion more than anything else. She likes to go for a walk, chat, maybe go to a store or one of the 'widowed persons' meetings/ luncheons, or something like that, take a drive or play some cards.... She travels sometimes, so it might not be consistent from week to week and she will be out of state for a while here and there. For now, she takes care of her own clothes, etc. and is in good health for her age. She can be impatient at times but is a kind, intelligent and sweet person who loves a good chat.. She does not require help with medications or her personal care, but does not cook, drive nor go out alone. I think to start we might do a two day a week trial with about 3 or 4 hours a day. Please note that since I am immunosuppressed, and mom is elderly so we need to be sure that you are careful not to bring any contagious diseases into the house. We have kept up on our vaccinations and would ask that you be up to date, too. If this sounds interesting, please reach out and let us know what your fee is. Also, be advised that there is a cat (who is never allowed anywhere near outside or the doors, great care to be taken with that! ) and there is a dog (beagle) who would be in her crate.
