Elder Care Job in Fair Haven, New Jersey

Caregiver/housekeeper needed for 86yr old woman with dementia. She does not require a lot of nursing care at all she can do almost everything on her own however you will need to make her sandwiches dispense medication and occasionally take her blood pressure we have a machine to do that and mostly what is required of you is to clean up the house do the laundry at the laundromat do all the grocery shopping and prepare a meal each day along with sandwiches. Most of this job is spending time with her answering her questions she will ask the same question over and over every 10 minutes and you have to answer her as if you never heard her ask that question before it requires a lot of patience this woman is a retired schoolteacher she's very stubborn and will never admit when she's wrong she also does not like it when you ask her for helping her do not use the words can I help you she does not want any help she insist on being independent and your employer is her grandson he is a 28 year old male on the autism spectrum it's difficult to communicate with him so you will also need a lot of patience to work for him this position is live in or live out if interested or have any questions please give me a call at 84846861...
